The first Estonian shop to join the Fur Free Retailer program

Estonian and Baltic design shop Les Petites is the first store in Estonia to join the international fur free program Fur Free Retailer. Designers, fashion houses, clothing chains and stores participating in this program do not produce or sell products made out of fur.

Elena Volk, the owner of the Les Petites store, values ethical entrepreneurship and believes that businesses that do not take responsibility for the environment and society belong in the past. “Les Petites has always supported the right initiatives. We have helped those who cannot help themselves. Animal advocacy is a topic that is very dear to our hearts. Fur farms are definitely the kind of institutions where the possible gain never outweighs the indescribable suffering of animals and harm to the environment,” said Volk.

By establishing fur free principles, Les Petites design shop joins other famous high-end brands and store chains like Armani, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Stella McCartney, H&M, Esprit, Lindex, Etnies, O’Neill and others. From Estonia, Aus Design OÜ, WÖÖ, Kalle HT, KÄT, Perit Muuga, Mari Design, TUUB and Reval Denim Guild have joined the program.

The representative of the Fur Free Retailer program in Estonia is NGO animal advocacy organization Loomus.
