In this episode of Loomus Academy Faristamo Eller has a duscussion with Douglas Waley, the Fish Welfare Programme Leader at Eurogroup for Animals They talk about the different types of fish farms, how the fish are treated in these farms, and whether it is easy to investigate and obtain video footage from them. They also discuss why people create fish farms, whether there is a decrease in the need to catch fish from the wild (there isn’t!), whether legislation adequately protects fish, and many other topics related to fish farming.
